Sierks Auto is expanding! We are a locally owned automotive repair shop opening a brand new shop in Steinbach, Manitoba. We are looking to hire a skilled Red Seal Journeyman Automotive Technician who excels at working both alone and in a team environment. We focus on quality repairs, honest service, and a professional, respectful work environment.

Position Responsibilities

• Perform diagnosis, repair, and maintenance on a wide range of vehicles (gas, diesel, light trucks, SUVs)

• Accurately diagnose mechanical, electrical, and drivability issues using scan tools and diagnostic equipment.

Complete repairs including (but not limited to):

• Engines and drivetrains

• Brakes

• Suspension

• Steering and alignment

• Electrical and electronic systems

• Heating and air conditioning

• Conduct provincial vehicle inspections

The Technician will be expected to:

• Clearly document work performed, parts used, and labour time

• Communicate findings and recommendations to service advisors or management

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace

• Follow all provincial safety regulations, shop procedures, and manufacturer specifications

• Mentor or assist apprentices and junior technicians when required

• Stay current with evolving vehicle technology and attend training as needed

• Use shop equipment and tools responsibly and report any issues

• Act as lead technician or shop foreman when required

Position Requirements

•  Red Seal Journeyman Automotive Technician (required)

•  Valid driver’s license

•  Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills

•  Ability to work independently and as part of a team
