Driver & Shop Assistant
Job Description
Sierks Auto is looking for a reliable and hardworking Driver & Shop Assistant to join our team.
The primary responsibility of this position is vehicle pickup and delivery, including driving a truck and trailer to various locations to pick up vehicles and safely transport them back to our shop. The position will also involve regular trips into Winnipeg to drop off scrap and other loads. When driving duties are not required, the successful candidate will assist with general shop tasks and other duties as needed.
Position Responsibilities

Drive a truck and trailer to pick up and deliver vehicles

Operate winch to load vehicles onto the trailer

Safely load, secure, and transport vehicles

Make regular trips to Winnipeg to drop off scrap and other loads

Assist with general duties around the shop as required

Keep the truck, trailer, and equipment clean and in good condition

Follow safe driving and workplace practices
Position Requirements

Valid class 5 driver's licence and a clean driving record

Comfortable driving a truck and trailer

Experience using a winch

Reliable, responsible, and punctual

Comfortable working independently

Willing to help with a variety of hands-on shop tasks
